Fremantle GP Network - Who are we and what do we do?

Fremantle GP Network is an organisation whose aim is to promote and support General Practitioners (GPs) and is committed to shaping a healthier local community.

Fremantle GP Network is one of 111 Divisions established to assist and represent GPs throughout Australia.  A non-government organisation, Fremantle GP Network was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee in 1993 and is governed by a Board of Directors made up of local GPs and community representatives.

What do we do?
The role of Fremantle GP Network is fully described within the 2008-2012 Strategic Plan. This plan was endorsed in 2008 after consultation with staff, GPs, the community and stakeholders. It is built on ensuring Fremantle GP Network has the capacity and budget to maintain adequate resources to manage all the strategies contained within the plan in order to meet the set goals. FGPN uses continual quality improvement methodology to guide and implement these strategies and goals.
